This is my third month with GlossyBox and definitely the best one to date! I was on the fence about cancelling, but after this box I am going to stick with it, since I really like what I received! This month’s theme was “Pure Luxury.” Sounds good to me! Since I’m terrible at math, I’m going to give you the final value that I’ve seen on some other blogs: around $93.
Illamasqua nail polish in the shade Glory- At first I thought, “ooh silver, how boring”, but I tried it out with some glitter on top and enjoyed it quite a bit! You can see a full review of that here. This is a full size bottle, and they retail at $14.
Touch in Sol – Feel like Honey Moon Skin Base– Okay, I wore this for two days so far. Today it had some reaction with my foundation (Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme) and my face turned ORANGE! Yes, just like the tube looks! I do like the texture though, and I’m not done experimenting with it, so a full update will be in order later.
Ellis Faas Ellis Lips– Guess what? I got the deep chocolate brown shade that everyone was dreading! Do I hate it? Can’t say that I do. It’s not a color that I would pick out on my own, but I rather like it for fall and it goes nicely with my coloring. This was another full-size product valued at $35 (which I would never pay for a lip gloss unless it had kittens tumbling out of it doing cartwheels or something).
Biolage Exquisite Oil Replenishing Treatment – I haven’t tried this hair oil yet, but can’t wait since I’m a bit obsessed with hair oils and treatments!
Ole Henriksen Truth Serum– Another fancy schmancy serum for the face. I’ve read a ton about Vitamin C and how it is so magical inside of the body, so I can’t wait to see what it does to my skin (unless this too also makes me orange!).
After this GlossyBox, I am going to stick with it for a bit longer!
