Four Peachy Lipsticks

The spring and summer of 2012 was definitely all about peach for me! I found myself thinking about the color during the winter, and with Tangerine Tango being the color of the year, orange and peach shades seemed to be everywhere! Anyway, here’s a look at four different peachy lipsticks at varying price points.

MAC Cut A Caper

Wet ‘n’ Wild Just Peachy

L’Oreal Sunset Angora

Revlon Peach Parfait

MAC Cut A Caper ($15, limited edition)- This is probably my favorite of the bunch. It is a peach-pink shade that is soft and buttery and makes my teeth look whiter. This is a buildable shade, so it’s easy to wear it sheer or opaque.

Wet ‘n’ Wild Just Peachy ($2)- This is a semi-matte shade that is quite neutral. It’s very pretty, but I have to put lip balm on before wearing it, since it isn’t very moisturizing, but at that price point I can’t complain for how pretty the color is!

L’Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in Sunset Angora ($9-$10) -This shade looks pretty muted in the photos, but it is the brightest of the bunch and especially bright in the tube. It is glossy and glides right on. This is quite expensive for a drugstore lipstick, but for the quality I don’t find it unreasonable.

Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait ($5-$7)- This lip butter is quite glossy and feels good on the lips, BUT it has glitter in it that is quite gritty. I love the color, but I can’t stand how the glitter feels!

Do you have any of these peachy shades, or recommendations for another great peach?

Oh where do i start! 🙂 This summer def WAS a peachy-corally one. Such a fun color to wear. (as you can see in my post i was drawn to that shade
I totally agree with what you said about the Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait. It’s a creamy one which feels great on the lips, but it’s just a bit too glittery. Thats why i tend to wear my Cotton Candy more (even if it’s not peachy at all).
From what i see in your pics, i need to check out L’Oreal Sunset Angora (and some similar shades from the line) – i def like the packaging.
Thanks for the post – loved it! (can you tell?!)

  2. I love Cut a Caper. It was definitely my go-to for summer!
