Physician’s Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Kabuki Brush

I’ve been looking for a large brush for buffing powder to a smoother finish, and this kabuki brush from Physician’s Formula is perfect for just that! I had no expectations with this brush, and picked it up on a whim because I liked the size of it. This is a BIG brush. The width of the brush is about the size of my cheek, so it covers a lot of territory at once!

The bristles are dense and packed together nicely; I also haven’t experienced any shedding.

Pros:

  • Very soft bristles
  • Densely packed
  • Blends easily and effectively
  • Can be used with liquid or powder
  • Affordable

Cons:

  • Awkward handle; bulky
  • Does not reach smaller areas
  • Not the best for travel

My brush is clearly used, but you can see how dense the bristles are. I also like how short the bristles are, as it allows for good control of the brush overall. The handle is quite bulky, so it does take up a lot of space and is a little awkward to store; it would also not be ideal to travel with because of this, but certainly not impossible! That said, I don’t really see another way the handle could possibly be due to the width of the flat-top.

This brush is quite affordable, ranging in the $10-$12 range. Physician’s Formula is often on sale as well, so that would be a great time to pick this brush up!

Do you have a favorite product by Physician’s Formula?? (And can you make a post about let’s say your top 5 by the brand?) 😉

LoL you have an ideas list too? 😉
Love the design of the PF blushes. I have the happy booster in natural, the cashmere wear (so cute!) and the glow & mood boosting powder. Nice products indeed!
