Revlon Super Lustrous Pink Pout Lipstick

Revlon Pink Pout is a matte lipstick that is often touted as a good dupe for MAC Snob. I don’t have the latter, but many blogs out there have compared the two and they seem to be an almost exact dupe. Check out this post from Makeup and Macaroons for a good comparison. The main differences seem to be that Snob is a little cooler in tone, and more pigmented (not a surprise there).

Application: For a matte lipstick, this went on surprisingly well without a lip balm and did not drag or pull on my lips.

Feel: This is quite soft for a matte lipstick, but like most mattes it does get a little drying after awhile, so I would definitely wear a lip balm underneath.

Color: This color is pretty and buildable. I am wearing a pretty thin layer in these shots, so it is possible to adjust the intensity of it. This is a blue-toned pink and sometimes leans lilac-y depending on your personal skin tone/color.

Price: Around $6 at most drugstores, so it is worth taking a chance on!

I don’t have anything quite like Pink Pout. I like this lipstick, but I am glad I purchased this instead of MAC Snob because it isn’t a shade I would go for often.
