October 2012 Favorites!

Sorry for the lack of posts around here; Hurricane/Storm Sandy has been hitting Michigan with nothing but clouds and a lot of rain (and some ice), which is not the best weather for clear photos. I do have my October favorites to show you today. I found myself using a lot of the same things over and over again this month, and favorite very natural looks with a lot of greens and browns.

MAC Face and Body Foundation in N2: I reviewed this here, and ended up purchasing the 4 ounce bottle after using my my sample vial (about four uses). This is definitely a holy grail item for me! One use I really like for it is layering over other foundations; it’s thin enough to do so. I also like that this foundation allows my skin to breathe!

MAC Legendary Blush: Reviewed here! I love this blush. It’s a light peachy coral that doesn’t look too orange on me!

Philosophy Strawberry Italian Soda Lip Shine: Very glossy with just a touch of color, and it’s not too sticky.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils in Mushroom and Stash: These are from the Ocho Loco eye pencil set which is a fantastic deal, especially if you participated in the 20% off friends and family sale. These glide on perfectly and I just LOVE Mushroom especially!

Vitabath Fresh Citrus Twist Hand Creme: I received this very generous two ounce bottle in a freebie bag from Ulta, and I seriously LOVE it. It’s that time of year where my hands are WAY dry due to the cold air, and this always heals them right up with one use.

Did you have any favorites this month? I’d love to hear about them!
