Urban Decay Triple Threat Travel Pencil Set

The Urban Decay Triple Threat Travel Pencil Set ($19) is a trio of some of UD’s most popular 24/7 Glide-On eyeliner shades: Zero (zealous black) , Demolition (deep brown with matte finish), and Rockstar (darkest eggplant). I absolutely love Urban Decay eyeliners and these pencils are incredibly smooth. True to their name, they really do just glide onto the lid without tugging, dryness, or getting stuck. I know I don’t want an eyeliner that drags and pulls on my skin.

The colors in this set are a great starter kit for eyeliner (not that I needed that of course…). Black, brown, and eggplant are pretty universal shades that will look great on a variety of skin tones and types. These are also great colors for people of all ages, and it’s a great way for someone who hasn’t tried UD eyeliner to experiment with a few different shades.

Zero is black, but it is a “lighter” black than UD’s famous Perversion eye pencil, making it a little more wearable for people who are just starting to wear eyeliner, or don’t want something so intense. I really like Rockstar because I have hazel eyes, and this shade enhances them. Urban Decay pencils stay put all day long on me and come off easily with an eye makeup remover like Sonia Kashuk or the Neutrogena makeup remover wipes.

The small size of these pencils makes them ideal for stashing in a purse, and of course as the name implies, for travel!

Since one full-size pencil retails for $19, getting three smaller pencils for $19 is an affordable way to try a few colors at once. This is definitely a set I would recommend, although I might warn you that this could be the start of a major love affair. 🙂
