FOTD With Urban Decay Oz Glinda Palette + Project Pan Update

Of the Oz palettes, I have really been loving the Glinda palette. It’s very different from anything else that I have, and that Aura duo shade is really something! In these photos I’m wearing South, Tornado, Aura, and Magic, plus the lip pencil.

So, Project Pan. I’ve been very good about not buying anything with the exception of MAC Archie’s Girls (and Oz, which I had no idea was coming out…if these palettes were not related to my favorite thing ever, I would not have purchased). Archie’s Girls launched yesterday online and I believe will be in MAC stores on February 7th. Nothing at the drugstore has been tempting me, even the major beauty clearance happening right now at Target (Boots, Sonia Kashuk).

In looking at the photo of my stuff from the first post, I can tell I’m making good progress! I already finished up the ELF eyelid primer and have put a blush in its place. The Tarte eyeshadow I am debating about…it is really dry already, which is disappointing because I’ve only had it for two months! The concealer is going down quickly too. When I first got this, I really liked it, but now after some use it is just not doing it for me. The Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch concealer in Radiant has surpassed it! I think my MUFE foundation is almost finished too; it’s getting more difficult to squeeze it out of the container. The Laura Mercier primer will definitely be gone soon as well!

Since starting this, I definitely have a new appreciation for what I already have. Tonight I depotted some blushes and organized them in a z-palette. This will help me see them and use them more, especially my Tarte blushes, which I love! I have to admit it was a little difficult to take them out of the compacts and put them in the z-palette. The compacts are so sturdy, but it’s just a major safe saver to de-pot them.

After organizing my blush, I’m going to go through my eyeshadow and pass some on to a couple of my friends. I’ve been an eyeshadow junkie for a long time and there are some items I just don’t use much and will get more love elsewhere. Now that Archie’s Girls is over, I have a LONG way to go before my birthday gets here! We’ll see what I finish in that time. 🙂
