Happy Friday to you! It’s so cold and cloudy once again, and seriously interfering with the quality of my photos. Still, I have some lovely cream shadows to show you today, all varying shades of pink! I also did a preview shot of this post on Vine. If you follow me on Twitter, you’ll see more of these!
Are you ready to see some beautiful pink shadows? All of these are cream shadows, three in pot form and three in stick form:
- MAC Paint Pot -Rubenesque
- Maybelline Color Tattoo- Inked in Pink
- Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Cream Eyeshadow- Seashell
- Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil -Sin
- Milani Shadow Eyez (hate the spelling!) -Champagne Toast
- Ulta Eye Crayon -Fairytale
Left to right: Rubenesque, Sin, Champange Toast, Fairytale, Seashell Pink, Inked in Pink
Rubenesque– This shade is definitely the peachiest of the bunch; it’s a peachy-pink with a lot of golden pearl. This is gorgeous worn alone or with other shadows; I often use it as a base. The sheen to this paint pot is beautiful. I’ve had mine for several months and it has not dried out.
Sin– Probably one of the most popular Urban Decay shades, it is a lovely pink champagne color that is extremely versatile. This can be worn as a brow highlight, all over lid shade, eyeliner, and maybe even a highlighter if you sheer it out enough (though it might be too frosty for that).
Champagne Toast– This is exactly the same color as Sin, perhaps a touch warmer, but I would say this is definitely a dupe. These shadow sticks by Milani are one of their best products. They are incredibly long wearing!
Fairytale– This color is probably my favorite of the bunch. It’s a candy pink with gold shimmer. I like how well the gold and pink both stand out. This pencil also has a smudging sponge on the other end of it.
Seashell Pink– This is a beautiful cool toned pink and the lightest of the bunch. I love the color but would not purchase these shadows again, as they dry out within a few months, which is disappointing.
Inked in Pink– This is a new shade in the Color Tattoo line, and the only one I wanted. I love this color, and it isn’t patchy.
My favorite shades here are Fairytale, Rubenesque, and Inked in Pink. If you’re debating on Sin, go for Champagne Toast, as the performance is the same and they are dupes. The Milani pencils run between $6-8, while the Urban Decay pencils are $20 (mine is a mini from a kit).
All of these shadows are long wearing and versatile. If I had to pick one for the best performer for longevity and creasing, I would go with the Maybelline Color Tattoo.
