MAC Cream Soda Blush vs. MAC Legendary Blush

Hello! I am so excited that my Archie’s Girls purchase has arrived. Of course it got here this morning right after I finished getting ready for the day, so I marched right into the bathroom and washed my face just to wear some of it! One of the big questions I had about the collection was how the Cream Soda (Betty, satin) blush compared to Legendary from the Marilyn Monroe collection. If you’re still wondering, I compared the two with some swatches.

Both blushes are satin finish and in the coral family; Legendary; however, is a lot more pink than Cream Soda.

Cream Soda (it looks darker in the pan than on the skin)

Legendary is on the left, and Cream Soda is on the right. As you can see, Legendary is a lot more pink than Cream Soda. I worried that CS would be too warm for my skin even though it is described as a neutral coral, but I absolutely love it. This might even be backup worthy, but first I have to compare it to one more blush I have (by Sleek).

I hope this helps anyone out there if you’ve been wondering how these blushes compare! Cream Soda is still available on MAC’s website, and the collection also went up on Macy’s and Nordstrom today.

  1. Oh my gosh! I’m so thankful you’ve done this comparison. Legendary is my every day go-to but I really wanted Cream Soda, just wasn’t sure if they were too similar.

    I’m buying Cream Soda!!

If you are thinking about comparing it to Life’s a Peach By Sleek I think that one is a little bit warmer haha, if you do a review let me know!!! =) Thanks for this 😀
