Milani The Multitasker Face Powder in Light Medium

Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you’re having a wonderful day filled with love from the special people in your life, whether it is a boyfriend, husband, wife, girlfriend, best friend, sister, dog, cat, and so on and so on. 🙂 Anyway, today I have a review of a product that I was surprised to like: the Milani Multitasker face powder! This has been compared to MAC Mineralize Skinfinish powders. I don’t know if they are dupes because I have not tried those, but I do have some thoughts about Milani’s version!

This is a heavier powder that I like to wear on days when I give my skin a breather from liquid foundation. The Multitasker has medium coverage, so it’s enough for me to wear alone. I do not like to wear this with liquid foundations because it is just too much, but if you pick it up with a powder brush, it does function as a setting powder. Those who like full coverage will get use out of this.

My shade is in light medium, which is a pretty good match for me. Much to my surprise, I have been loving the combination of the Urban Decay Naked Skin BB Cream (which my first impression of was not that great!) with The Multitasker! This powder applies much better when a primer is applied first, just make sure the primer is dry, otherwise it’s going to be a patchy mess!

The texture of the powder is very soft and not scratchy. It does tend to be a little powdery, so a little goes a long way. The Multitasker comes with a mirror and a powder puff, but I usually don’t use the puff as I like the MAC luxury powder puffs for application, or my Real Techniques powder brush.

I have never been let down by trying Milani products, so The Multitasker was another winner for me! What do you think of this powder? Have you tried it?
