Hello and happy Saturday to you! I hope you’re having a wonderful day. I can’t complain, since I FINALLY have a new car, nearly four weeks after mine was totaled in a car accident, and the sun was finally out! I decided to take my car out for a little test ride and make a few fun stops just to enjoy the day. So, shall we talk about Project Pan? Let’s jump right into it!

Here’s my progress so far:
Cashmere Glow– About 1/3 finishedLaura Mercier Deluxe Sample primer– Finished!
Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet+ Foundation– Finished!
Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer– About 1/2 way done; the foundation has gone down to the lettering on “Age”.
ELF Eyelid Primer– Finished!
Tarte Amazonian Clay Cream Eyeshadow in Slate- I’ve made a good dent in this, but it is pretty dry so I’m not sure if I’ll finish it or not. I am going to try to soften it up a bit.
Bobbi Brown Eyeliner– I know I won’t finish this in two months, but I am using it a lot more, so I say this is a success!
NARS Mini Orgasm Multiple– I’m not doing well with this, as I’ve only used it a few times since starting Project Pan!
Lush Lemony Flutter– This is about halfway gone now. I am making good progress with this!
Buxom Lip Gloss in Katie– This is going down fast. I absolutely love this gloss and will most likely buy it again when I’m finished with it, because it is a major staple for me!
Even though I’ve only finished three products so far, I have been finishing other items in my stash, so I’m happy with it. Now for the shopping. Have I been perfect? No, definitely not. I already mentioned buying the Oz palettes. I will say that I have been VERY good in the drugstore. We all know how easy it is to just toss a lipstick or a gloss into a shopping basket, right? Well I’ve successfully avoided that and am definitely thinking about my purchases a lot more. It’s easy to get excited about the latest and greatest thing, but I’d rather have a quality item that I LOVE than fifteen lip butters at my disposal. I had a moment of weakness today though and totally bought the Too Faced Boudoir Eyes palette; just keeping it honest here!
Another perk of doing this project, besides being more conscious of my purchases, is that I am totally enjoying things that I have already. I passed on some items to friends and also depotted some stuff into my z-palettes so they will get more use. So far, I think it is a success and even though it hasn’t been perfect, I’m pleased with my progress!
And now for a quick FOTD! I have been using my Oz palettes a lot but haven’t used the lip pencils very much! Today I decided to wear the Theodora palette and use the lip pencil as well! This pencil lasts forever. I think I had it on for seven hours before it wore off completely. OF COURSE my husband said, “That’s a bright lipstick.” I think he just doesn’t like it because he can’t swoop in for a kiss without getting it all over his face. 😉 Also wearing: UD 24/7 eye pencil in Perversion, Maybelline The Rocket mascara, MUFE Aqua Brow in Ash, UD Naked Skin BB Cream, Milani Multitasker, and American Beauty blush in Nude Beach.
About that UD Naked Skin BB Cream. Remember my first impression post where I didn’t like it? Yeah, I used the rest of the tube and I had a total change of heart. It is PERFECT combined with the Milani powder and I love it when I just want a fast and easy face.
WHEW! That was a lot of rambling! If you’re still here, thanks for reading! 🙂
