February 2013 Favorites!

fave

I absolutely love writing favorites posts. 🙂 Even though the month of February is so short, I had SO many favorites this month! It was difficult narrowing them down, so I tried to go by what I have been using the most. I have quite the variety this month between stash shopping old favorites, never tried items, and a few new things.

MAC Forever Marilyn Beauty Powder– I love this stuff. After securing a back-up, I haven’t been able to put it down and have made quite the dent in it! It really brightens my face. Rumor has it that MAC is releasing another Marilyn collection this fall. I really hope they release this again!  Full review here.

MAC Veronica’s Blush Pearlmatte Powder– I’ve been wearing this as a highlighter; on occasion as a blush. This color is just perfect for my complexion and I love the texture.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Velvet– This is one of my favorite lipsticks of all time. I LOVE this color; I feel like it was made for me! It’s soft, romantic, and a bit retro. Review coming soon. 🙂

NARS Sheer Glow foundation in Santa FeFull review here.

NARS Laguna Bronzer– Months ago I purchased a mini-Laguna on eBay, not wanting to invest in the full size, just in case I didn’t like it. Well, I love it and have been using it every single day for very light contouring and just giving my face some sun-kissed glow.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed– As you can see, I’m pretty close to hitting pan on this blush, and we all know what a feat that is. 😉 This blush is a favorite of mine, as it is super natural looking and easy to apply, plus it lasts all day long.

Urban Decay Glinda palette– See swatches here and a FOTD with this palette here.

Real Techniques Buffing Brush– This is the best foundation brush I have ever used, and this is coming from someone with the Sigma F80, Sigma F88, and the Urban Decay Optical Blurring brush (I like having options for when brushes get dirty). This brush applies foundation PERFECTLY, and the bristles don’t eat up all of the product (I hate when brushes do that). I might have to get another Real Techniques Core Set just to get another one of these brushes, I love it that much!

Love & Toast Rich Conditioner for Dry Hair (not pictured)- Meet my holy grail hair conditioner. I can’t believe it exists! All those years of searching, I found it! My hair is SO soft after using this. It looks healthy and silky and has volume (I hate it when conditioner weighs my hair down).
