NARS 413 BLKR Eyeshadow Review and Swatches!

413

NARS 413 Blkr is a cool-toned taupe/gray lavender eyeshadow with a hint of shimmer. The 413 Blkr collection is exclusive to the NARS store at 413 Bleeker Street in NYC, but you can also order this from their website. You will not find this shade at Sephora or other places that sell the brand (like Beauty.com). I ordered mine from NARS during their fall Friends and Family event, and I am so glad that I did. This shadow has become my holy grail eyeshadow shade and I am completely in love with it!

In typical NARS fashion, this shade is pigmented, blendable, soft, and buildable. The pigmentation is not so saturated that you will go overboard; this is something I generally prefer with my shadows for easier application. I can wear this shade alone, but it also complements my Naked 2 palette wonderfully. If I could have just one eyeshadow for the rest of my life, I would pick this one because the color makes my hazel eyes pop!

I tried to find a similar shade in my other shadows, but that didn’t happen; these are all very different from each other in texture, finish, and color. (These swatches are in the sun).

Swatches in the shade with color names.

The packaging is standard NARS- it comes in a matte, rubberized case and everything is nice and compact. The shadow has a mirror on the inside and everything is very sleek. I love how NARS doesn’t waste space!

This shadow is $24 and available at NarsCosmetics.com. Their shadows are expensive, but worth every penny! I’m not sure if this is permanent or limited edition. I have read that it is limited edition, but since I am not entirely positive, I emailed NARS to ask, and will update this post when I get a response. If it is LE, you can bet that I will for sure get a back up! 🙂  It is PERMANENT!

  1. It is pretty. Hard to tell if it would be a good dupe, but Bobbi Brown Eye shadow in Heather could be close.
