Bare Minerals Wild Thing Quad Swatches + Review!

bare

Hey everyone! I hope you had a great Easter (if you celebrate it). I have an amazingly colorful quad to share today from Bare Minerals! While I have several loose shadows from Bare Minerals, this is my first pressed quad from the brand, and I’m very happy with it so far. The Wild Thing quad has four shades: Sensational, Icon, Elitist, and Controversy. This is a limited edition quad and can be found at retailers like Ulta, Sephora, and Nordstrom for $30.

Sensational is a unique seafoam shade with a golden sheen. The pigmentation is great and I love how unique this color is. I don’t have anything like it!

Icon is a green-tinged yellow; another unique to my stash shade. This is great for people with hazel eyes. It really makes my eyes stand out!

Elitist is a satin bronzed taupe that Temptalia compares to MAC Soba. I think this is true, but Soba is lighter and doesn’t have as much of the satin finish that Elitist has. I would not consider them dupes.

Controversy is a deep metallic blue.

Swatches in the shade- you can see these are very pigmented!

Swatches in the sun!

So far I am really pleased with this quad. It is fun, summery, and unique, and the shadows have little fallout and excellent pigmentation. I actually looked at this in Sephora before purchasing to see if it was something I would get use out of. I truly feel like there’s something for everyone in this little gem! This will definitely be a go-to summer quad for me. What do you think?
