Another month has gone by, and it’s time for another favorites post! I had SO many favorites this month that it was hard to narrow it down, but I tried and came up with this batch of items that I have been using constantly! There are also a couple of items that aren’t pictured that I will mention below as well. Also, if you have a favorites post, let me know because I would love to see it!
I’m going to start at the top left of the photo! 🙂
MAC Give Me Sun! Mineralize Skinfinish Natural– I’ve been wearing this as a bronzer and VERY loose contour, just to give my face some warmth. It is a little on the orange side, but surprisingly looks great when it blends out, at least on my skin. If you’re super fair, this may not work for you because it is so warm.
MAC Cream Colour Base in Shell– This is so pretty! I bought this during my trip to Chicago and it is a luminous highlight. I haven’t used it on my eyes yet, but am planning on doing so.
MAC Mineralize Loose Foundation in Light Plus– I found this at a CCO a few months ago, and took it to Chicago because I wanted an easy makeup routine since we were out of town and not in the comfort of my vanity. The coverage and staying power are great, and it’s easy to touch up and reapply if needed.
MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Supurb– This gorgeous pinky bronze highlight was limited edition during the holidays, and I wore this every single day until we went to Chicago. I didn’t want to take it with me just in case something happened to my makeup bag, but I am back to using it again now that we’re home!
MAC Silly lip pencil– This pencil came out with Fashion Sets and it is the perfect base for my hot pink lipsticks (Embrace Me, Candy Yum Yum, and Maybelline Fuchsia Flash). I love it so much that I bought a back-up!
Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch face primer– I had a small sample of this and used the entire tub. I loved it so much that I had to get the full size. This is the best face primer I have ever used! It makes my skin look amazing and really does blur pores. Unfortunately it doesn’t have the best price tag, but it is worth it.
NYX Butter Gloss– Wow, I am so obsessed with these! In my humble opinion, this is the best NYX gloss out there. I have been using Eclair (my favorite so far) and Cherry Cheesecake the most of the ones that I have. Eclair is a cool toned pink, and Cherry Cheesecake is a warm coral-orange shade.
Dior nail polish in Princess– I splurged on this nail polish in Chicago. This is pretty much my dream polish. You can see my full review on my polish blog, and why I bought this for sentimental reasons!
Maybelline Fuchsia Flash lipstick– This is from the Vivids line and it is a creamy hot pink polish. I love how creamy it is, and it has a nice glossy finish. If you don’t want to invest in a more expensive bright shade, these puppies are only $5 to $6 at the drugstore.
Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation in Medium Ivory– I’ve heard so many people rave about this foundation that I decided to give it a try, and so far I really like it. I will probably do a full review on this soon.
Desert Essence Organic Repair Pumpkin Hand Cream (not pictured)- This is the best hand cream I have ever used. I love it! Check out my full review on my polish blog.
Vivo Per Lei Dead Sea Minerals Exquisite Manicure Set (not pictured)- My husband bought this for me (another birthday present…I’m spoiled) and it has literally rescued my dry hands and cuticles. My hands and nails have never looked better! There’s a buffer, nail file, hand cream, and cuticle oil in the set. I’m going to do a full review, either on my polish blog or on YouTube about this set. I haven’t decided which one yet. 🙂
