If you’re familiar with the Sonia Kashuk line of cosmetics at Target, you’ll know that a bunch of new products were released when the line was revamped earlier this year. This cream bronzer is part of that new line up, and I’m going to say it now: I. LOVE. IT. I’ve never used cream bronzer before, and I can’t think of any other ones available at drugstore prices, except for the ELF one that was WAY too orange for me (I did like the blush in that compact). That said, I am hooked on this one!
This product comes in two shades: Warm Tan and Rich Bronze. Warm Tan is the lighter of the two, and the one that I purchased. Many beauty blogs are touting this as a dupe for Soleil Tan De Chanel bronzer, but I don’t have that so I can’t truly compare the two.
The bronzer is $10.99 and housed in compact form, and it comes with a little sponge and a mirror on the underside. I did not use the sponge to apply this, but it would be handy on the go. The design of the whole compact is pretty simple and chic looking. I really like it!
I applied this with the Sigma F84, which is a rounded, angled kabuki brush. Just as the product description states, this melts into my skin flawlessly and is SO easy to blend! This is a cream to powder formula, and has SPF 20 as well. With the F84, I blended the bronzer around my hairline and a little bit on the jawline. I didn’t use this for contouring, but more to give my face a warm and glowy look. I was really happy with the results, as the color of this looks natural on my skin.
The consistency of this bronzer is very lightweight and creamy, allowing for buildable coverage. There’s no sparkle or shimmer in this product, and it is not orange.
This is a really heavy swatch so you can see the color, which is a nice golden brown. The shade is similar to MAC Pure Sculpture sculpting cream. I like this bronzer as much as I like NARS Laguna, as as far as drugstore bronzers go, this surpasses my old favorite (Revlon Bronzed & Chic, which is fantastic).
I highly recommend this bronzer if you’re in the market for one!
