The other day, one of my dear blogging friends who is an incredibly kind and inspiring person posted a “Can’t live without” post all about hand creams. I was inspired by her collection and write-up, and decided to write up my own post on hand creams. Before you start reading, definitely visit Luchessa’s blog to see her hand cream collection!
When I started thinking about the places that I keep my hand creams, I was a little shocked that I had so many! Some people keep lip balms in every nook and cranny so they won’t be without it, but I guess I am like that with hand cream. I keep it in my purse, car, next to my bed, in the bathroom, and in the kitchen. I have tried so many hand creams in my day, since my hands tend to be very dry and in the winter it just gets painful.
First and foremost, my favorite hand cream is Desert Essence Organics Pumpkin Hand Repair Cream. I did a full write-up on this on my nail blog. This is my holy grail hand cream and the one I keep in my kitchen, since I work on my computer all day at the counter. It smells incredible and is so moisturizing!
The newest of the bunch is Victoria’s Secret Lemon Sugar and Coconut Hand and Body Cream. This is a thicker consistency, but still very moisturizing and the scent is incredible. I have a feeling I will be buying a back up of this before the summer ends.
One that is quite beat up due to spending its time in my purse is the Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar Body Butter. This tube is about halfway gone, maybe a little more than that. I love it and would purchase it again.
Gold Bond Ultimate Intensive Healing Hand Cream is just a standard healing product. I use this in the winter when my hands get dry and cracked. I bought this on my sister’s recommendation and it really helped to heal the cracks in my hands. It isn’t greasy and is highly moisturizing!
Vitabath Fresh Citrus Twist Hand Cream is something I’ve mentioned in a favorites post here before. I love this stuff! It is the perfect thin consistency and isn’t heavy. I really like this in the summer months and am almost done with this tube.
What are your must-have hand creams?
