I’ve said it before: I am a bit of an eyeshadow snob, so I rarely buy drugstore shadows, but when I saw this quad from Revlon, I had a hard time resisting it! The first time around, I firmly said “NO”, but the second time I saw it, it came home with me! I purchased this from Target for $5.99, and it’s called Sun Swept.
This quad has four colors (duh, haha): a frosted white shade, a frosty blue shade, a satin pale aqua, and a taupe/brown with some sparkle to it.
The brown shade is the most pigmented, while the other shades are on the sheer side. Still, they are pigmented enough to show color distinction on the lids (at least between the lighter shades). I think this is a great quad for those who aren’t looking for a bold look, and want something natural but with something different than the standard neutrals.
I really love the brown shade in this quad. The shimmer in it is really pretty, but not super chunky. These shades are on the powdery side, but I think that is to be expected at this price point. Despite being powdery, they do blend smoothly and are fairly easy to pack onto the lid.
The Revlon Colorstay quads boast 16 full hours of wear. I haven’t been able to test it out for that long, since I don’t typically wear my makeup that long, but with a primer I get a full day out of this quad. For the price, I am happy with the quality and will continue to use it!
