Becca Pressed Shimmer Powder in Nefertiti ($38) is a multi-use product that can be used as a blush, highlighter, brow highlight and more! Nefertiti would not work as a blush for me, but it can certainly be layered over blush for a pretty sheen.
This powder is described as a golden pink shade, but it isn’t bright like NARS Orgasm or Milani Luminoso. Instead, it is more subtle and neutral, and provides a true glow without being glittery or frosty. The sheen is very natural looking, as the powder is finely milled.
The texture of this powder is very soft. It feels completely luxurious; however, I do worry that it might break easily, so I would use extra care when handling this product. A lot of reviews I’ve seen also claim that it does break easily, so I don’t think I’ll be traveling with it, which is unfortunate because I really love it and would like to take it a long with me. It is housed in a rubberized brown compact that feels like NARS packaging; semi-matte.
I think this product might be discontinued now, but it is still available for purchase at places like Amazon and Dermstore; you also might be able to find it at a discounted price like I did. I do think this is worth the full price though, because the sheen it gives the skin is gorgeous. It provides that healthy glow many people are looking for! At the same time, if you’re prone to breaking products, this might be too fragile for that kind of price tag.
Here it is blended out a little bit; as you can see it practically melts into my skin, so this would definitely not work as a blush for me. That said, I do like it layered over blush if I’m looking to brighten up my complexion. Nefertiti kind of reminds me of Superb EDSF without the frost, or maybe even my favorite highlighter, MAC Honey Rose. I think this would be a good highlighter for those with oily skin as well, because it is easy to control during application.
Overall, I have been getting a lot of use out of this and love it!
