MAC Sunny Seoul ($15) is a “subtly yellow-toned medium pink with white shimmer” according to Temptalia. It is a cremesheen formula, which is my favorite from MAC. I love how creamy they are, and they are a “low maintenance” type of lipstick, making them good for lip product beginners or those who don’t want something that have the staying power of cement, but still have decent longevity. 😉
This is a permanent lipstick released last year. This isn’t the most unique shade by any means, but it is pretty. I love the sheen that the pearl gives, but it isn’t overly frosty. Some people do find the cremesheen formula drying, but I’ve never had that problem with them. This is something that probably varies depending on a person’s body chemistry, lip condition, and so on. Sunny Seoul wears for about three hours on me before I need touch ups.
If you have found yourself missing out on shades like Flamingo due to them being limited edition products, Sunny Seoul is a good option. They aren’t exactly the same, particularly due to the pearl finish, but they are certainly in the same color family!
Sunny Seoul is on the sheer side; however, it does achieve opacity. I think this color would look great on just about everyone because it is so wearable. Bright, but not overwhelmingly so.
