Becca Shimmer Skin Perfector ($41) is famed makeup artist Lisa Eldridge’s favorite highlighter. This comes in four different shades: Pearl, Moonstone, Opal, and Topaz.
Achieve a subtle luminosity. This formula features ultrafine light-reflecting pearls that melt into your skin for polished, natural-looking radiance. Water-light and sheer, it has a prismatic effect that allows it to adjust in any light, so your refined glow is never lost.
Though expensive, you get a lot of product: 1.7 ounces. Since a little goes a long way, this will last for a long time. I debated on what color to get, but after poring over swatches I went with pearl, which is a luminous bright white shade, since it is different than anything else that I have. Pearl is a beautiful highlight. It is so natural looking! I can see why Lisa Eldridge uses this on her clients.
The texture is also lovely. It is not greasy, and it is lightweight. I can’t feel this on my skin at all when I wear it. I also like to mix this into matte foundations to not only add a subtle sheen to my skin, but to also make the foundation a little more flexible. It also has SPF 25, which is always a nice perk.
Right now you can get a deluxe sample of this product in the shade Opal with the code “OPAL” by shopping at Sephora.com. You do have to place an order for $25 or more, and free shipping starts at $50. So far, of the products I’ve tried from the Becca brand, the highlighters have been my favorite!
