Butter London Cheeky Cream Blush in Pistol Pink

PP3

Hey everyone! I’m really excited about this post. My favorite brand of nail polish has expanded their line from polish and lippies to include a makeup line! The line, entitled “Rock Your Colour”, is set to hit Ulta and other retailers on August 1st. The kind folks at Butter London sent me a box of goodies from this collection to try out and review, and I could not be happier that my box is ALL PINK! Appropriate, right? Today I’m reviewing their new cream blush in the shade “Pistol Pink.”

Pistol Pink is a “fuchsia pink cream” and it is VERY bright and vibrant. You can wear it as intense as you’d like, or sheered out for a more natural looking flush. This color is amazing. If you love pink like I do, you definitely need to check this out! The texture is different from other cream blushes that I have tried. It is incredibly easy to blend and very silky to the touch.

The consistency is thin compared to MAC cremeblend and Stila convertable color. It isn’t sticky or hard to blend. I LOVE the texture of this. If you are afraid of cream blush or have no idea how to apply it, this would be a good blush for you to try because it is mistake proof. Even if you apply too much, it is very easy to sheer out through blending. This product is buildable as well, which I tested out.

This product can also be used on the lips as well. Because of the thin consistency, it is not uncomfortable on the lips, nor does it have a strong smell. It will emphasize dry spots on the lips, so make sure that they are exfoliated beforehand, or use a balm.

So far, I’ve been wearing this blush for six hours with no touch-ups and it isn’t faded or patchy. I applied Pistol Pink with a flat-top brush, though it also blends very easily with fingers, if not better.

This blush comes in three other shades and is housed in a small square container that includes a fairly large mirror. It is not bulky or wasteful. I love the packaging of this blush. The outer box is black with a soft, matte finish. The inside is adorned with their signature bird and branches print. Also, Butter London is a cruelty-free brand.

These blushes are $20 per blush. Will you be checking them out? I will be reviewing some other products from their new collection soon as well, including mascara, eyeliner, and a couple of lip products. Overall, I LOVE Pistol Pink. The color is amazing and it is super easy to work with.

*This product was sent to me for consideration. All opinions are my own.
