Wet ‘n’ Wild Megalast Matte lipsticks are legendary when it comes to drugstore makeup. Not only are these lipsticks creamy, pigmented, and come in a huge array of colors, they are only TWO DOLLARS. They are an incredible steal! What I like about them is that they are a cheap investment on colors I wouldn’t necessarily wear every single day, colors I wouldn’t want to pay much for because of that (for me, deeper colors).
Pinkerbell topped with Maybelline gloss in Coral Heat
I have eleven shades out of twenty. Mine range from mostly pink shades to a deeper berry color. A lot of these shades are also touted as MAC dupes!
Left to right:
Sugar Plum Fairy 908C (MAC Rebel dupe)
Just Peachy 903D
Think Pink 901B
Pinkerbell 968 (MAC Viva Glam Nicki dupe)
Dollhouse Pink 967 (MAC Saint Germain dupe)
Mauve Outta Here 907C
Purty Persimmon 970 (MAC Sail la Vie dupe)
Don’t Blink Pink 966
Cherry Picking 965 (MAC Love Goddess dupe/Revlon Cherries in the Snow dupe)
Cherry Bomb 918D (MAC Diva dupe)
I love these lipsticks and the quality is definitely worth a lot more than a couple bucks. Some may find them drying, but if I wear them with a gloss over it or a balm underneath, I don’t have this issue. Also, the staying power promises four hours of wear, and that holds true as well. Even though eating and drinking, I notice that there is some color leftover.
Wearing Pinkerbell with Coral Heat gloss over it
These lipsticks are some of my favorite for combining with glosses to make different colors. My favorite shades are Pinkerbell, Dollhouse Pink, and Think Pink (do you see a theme!?).
