August 2013 Ipsy Bag!

This month’s Ipsy bag received a lot of hype due to the new Urban Decay lipstick being part of the subscription. While I didn’t receive the UD lipstick (sad face!), I was still pleased with my bag! This month’s theme was “Glamour Academy”. Here’s what my bag contains:

Noya Natural lip balm in Cherry– I wasn’t all that impressed with this since I am not a die hard lip balm user, but I do like the texture and scent of this balm. I know I will get use out of it since my lips tend to be dry, but lip balm just doesn’t thrill me. It’s too functional to get excited about. 😉 This is a full-size product.

Michael Todd Organics Joboba Charcoal Facial Scrub– Now this is right up my alley since I love facial scrubs and exfoliate a couple times per week. This is a one ounce size, so it is a deluxe sample.

Chella Dazzling Dark Brown Brow Pencil– This is a full-size product and the perfect color for me! I am excited to try this because I really loved the last item I received from the Chella brand.

Pacifica Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream– I love Pacifica, so I’m looking forward to trying this BB cream. This is a deluxe sample size at .34 ounces, and it appears to be a universal shade that adjusts to your skin type.

The last item is a deluxe sample of Pixi Lash Booster Mascara in Blackest Black. I’m kind of on a mascara kick right now, so it will be interesting to see how this works!

All in all, this was another great bag! Do you want to join Ipsy? It’s only $10 per month and they are always spoiling subscribers with amazing full-size products and samples. I’d be thrilled if you used my referral link! –  If not, that’s cool too. :) Here is the regular link for your convenience:

  1. The UD lipstick is good. I got Anarchy but bought myself another shade before I got the ipsy bag.

I really love the idea of a beautybox but we don’t have a lot of them locally. I just love reading about them and learning about new products. 🙂
