L’Oreal LaLaque Lip Color in Lacque-onic

So, the LaLaque lip colors by L’Oreal. I keep seeing them everywhere and passed them by many times, but out of curiosity I finally picked one up. I was going to get a pink one, but decided to go out of my comfort zone and get this vivid red called Lacque-onic.  Can I just say I HATE the names of these? Ridiculous. Also, why is it called “LaLaque” and this is spelled “Lacque-onic” with a C? Anyway, not important when the product is seriously AMAZING!

Look at how bright and glossy that is! Let me state this: these are NOT slap on and go lippies. This requires careful application due to how pigmented it is. Dare I say it is even messy? Yes, it is very messy if you don’t have the most defined lip line like I do.

The applicator is similar to Buxom lipsticks or Khroma joystick lipsticks. The product itself is very soft and moisturizing; it sits on top of the lips so you don’t need to worry about it settling into lip lines. It isn’t very long lasting (a couple hours or so); I don’t recommend drinking or eating while wearing it. I tested it out with something to drink and it definitely came off. If you drink something, be careful because it does transfer pretty easily.

I really love this color and I’m so happy that I picked it up! I might just go back and get a pink one after loving this so much…or maybe one of the matte shades. These are limited edition (of course), so get one now if you like it!
