The Princess Tag!

Hello! There is a tag floating around YouTube right now called “The Princess Tag”, which features your favorite high end items. I was tagged by my beautiful friend Zenorah, who has both a blog and YouTube channel! Let’s get started, shall we?

This was difficult, so I picked my two favorites: NARS Sheer Glow ($44) and Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet+ ($36). I just adore both of these foundations and am on my second bottle of Mat Velvet+. I would also continue to repurchase them!

I have to go with the MAC Pro Conceal and Correct palette ($40). I use this all the time find it so versatile! Plus, I get use out of each shade.

This was a tough one, but ultimately I had to choose the Urban Decay Naked Skin powder ($34). I love the texture, coverage, and longevity. Runner up: Cargo HD powder!

MAC Prolongwear bronzer in Sun Dipped ($30) has been my go-to bronzer since I purchased it from the Temperature Rising collection. I’m even getting close to hitting pan! I love how soft and blendable it is; plus, it lasts forever on my skin.

NARS, NARS, NARS! And did I mention NARS? If you want a high-end blush, NARS is the place to go. Yes, they are $29 a pop, but if you wait for a 20% off sale from Sephora,, or NARS, you can get a little discount!

MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Superb ($29)…I wore this for months straight and I finally took a break so some other products could get use. I would definitely buy a backup of this if it was released again. I love the color and how easy it is to use.

For this one I chose a palette and a single eyeshadow. The single eyeshadow is the most luxurious one that I own: Burberry Pale Barley ($29). I bought this in Chicago and will eventually have a post about it! The other is the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette ($49). My favorite!

Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner in Black Ink ($23) is the most long-wearing eyeliner I have, and it is super black. Worth every penny, and I would repurchase.

There are a few high end mascaras that I really like, but I have to go with Too Faced Lashgasm ($21), because I have repurchased it and recommended to others.

I totally forgot to put the lip liner in the photo, but the only high end lip liner I have is from MAC ($15). I love Subculture and Silly, and their lip liners are really long wearing.

Again, I have to go with MAC ($15). Creme d’ Nude is my favorite lipstick of all time. MAC is who made me like lipstick, too!

I am definitely going with Buxom ($18) for this one. I love the lip plumpers and lip creams, and it is one of the only brands of lip gloss where I have actually used one up entirely.

As much as I love MUFE Aqua Brow, I love the convenience of the Anastasia Brow Wiz ($21) in Brunette. The spoolie is amazing and the product looks so natural! I just ran out of mine and am definitely going to repurchase.

Ugh…it’s killing me, but Hourglass Mineral Veil primer and it’s sadly $52 for one ounce! I haven’t purchased this yet but have had a foil packet sample and a deluxe sample. Unfortunately, I love it!

While my favorite high end brand of nail polish is Illamasqua, I chose one polish in particular for this, and it is Dior’s Princess. This is pretty much my ideal polish. It’s pink with loads of shimmer and it is called Princess! What’s not to like (besides the price tag??)?

Thank you, Zenorah for tagging me! I tag:

Jessica from Product Hoochie
Krissy from Viva la KP!
Hazel from Major Makeup Madness

….and anyone else who wants to do this!

Loved all your products!! I have been eyeing Hourglass products but it’s taking so much will power not to jump in and get them all! lol

You have so much neat-o stuff, Princess Melissa.

Even though I have been interested in make-up for a little while now before I started reading blogs and watching videos I didn’t realize how many cosmetics some women actually possessed. I know I have a bit more than your average bear, but my goodness, I do not know how some can get their faces on in the morning with so many options.

I have small set of acrylic drawers that I keep on my vanity, and I rotate things in it on a regular basis. I have a lot of makeup (obviously!), but go through it often and pass things on to friends that I don’t use, or pitch if I think it’s terrible. Certain things never leave my vanity (Naked palettes), and I also get samples when I can since I like to try new things! 🙂
