Hey guys and gals! It’s favorites time again, and mine are quite bland this month. Well, maybe “bland” isn’t the right word. Simple, natural, easy- better description. 🙂 I was out of town for nearly two weeks in October, and a lot of these items are what I brought with me. And hold your horses: there are TWO CoverGirl products in here. Can you believe it?
Let’s start with eyeshadow!
NARS Coconut Grove– This is such a versatile shadow. It is CRAZY pigmented. I love it for natural and dramatic looks. It also makes for a good eyeliner.
Maybelline Golden Halo– This single is crazy pigmented and just gorgeous. Definitely a hidden gem of the drugstore, in my opinion!
MAC Goldbit– Ahh this is just gorgeous! Not only is this a fabulous brow bone highlight, I used it on my cousin for her bridal makeup this month on her cheekbones. I might do a post on her bridal makeup.
Urban Decay Naked Basics– I decided to pull this back out to use more and have been really enjoying it. I love rediscovering things in my stash!
Revlon Really Red (matte) lipstick– This is a great red; I have a post coming about this color, but I think it is just a super flattering red for just about anyone.
MAC Mineralize Loose Foundation in Light Plus– I seriously love this foundation over a BB cream, or on its own. Not only did I wear this the entire time I was out of town, I used it on my cousin the bride, and three of her bridesmaids.
CoverGirl Perfect Blend Eye Pencil in Mink– I’m pretty sure this is supposed to be an eyeliner, but I’ve been using it to fill in my brows. I think this pencil is awesome and it is a product favorite right now. I am going to do a comparison to the Anastasia pencil that is in the Lavish palette.
Olivia Garden Ionic Massage Healthy Hair Brush– This brush is so gentle! I am really happy with this purchase and think it might be my new favorite hair brush!
CoverGirl Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation– I was in the middle of the road about this foundation when I first tried it, but I just can’t get enough of it right now and am having a major love affair with it.
My last favorites are a couple of brushes.
Sephora Cat Eye Brush– This is on sale right now for $7 as part of a duo. Both brushes are great, but the cat eye brush is amazing! I absolutely adore this for using with gel liner. I liked it so much that I ordered another brush set so I can have a back up. You can check that out here.
EcoTools Airbrush Concealer Brush– This brush is my new holy grail concealer brush. It is the best concealer brush I have ever used, hands down! It’s only $4 and does truly give an airbrushed look to my concealer. I already purchased another one and might add a third to my brush stash.
