Beauty Works Big Bun Shaper

I’m a fan of big hair. The bigger, the better. I don’t know if anyone out there is a fan of shopping at Marshall’s, but that’s where I found the biggest bun maker I’ve ever seen, by a brand called Beauty Works. For $6, I just couldn’t resist, figuring my hair was long enough to cover it. I also have the Conair Bun Maker, but this one by Beauty Works is way bigger!

The bun maker is really easy to use. You just put your hair up in a ponytail, put it through the bun maker, and wrap your hair around it until the mesh part isn’t visible. Since this bun maker is so big, you will need to have pretty long hair (or extensions) to use this one.

Here’s a comparison between the Beauty Works and Conair bun makers. The Conair Bun Maker comes in a 6 piece set and is $5. It has four bobby pins and an elastic hair tie that you can use. The Beauty Works Big Bun Shaper only comes with the mesh part, no bobby pins or hair ties. This wasn’t a big deal to me since I have all of these things at home already.

I didn’t have any trouble fitting all of my hair around the mesh part. There weren’t any areas showing through, and I wore it all day long without a problem. It stayed in all day. The only complaint I have is that it will get heavy. This isn’t a fault of the bun maker, but instead my hair. 🙂

This was a fantastic purchase and I love it! I usually hate wearing my hair up, so this will give me something different to do with it.
