November 2013 Ipsy Bag!

ipsy

Ipsy really knocked it out of the park this month with five full-size products, plus a sixth product that is still pretty big! November’s theme is “Glam it Up”, as evidenced by the gaudy faux animal skin gold bag. The bag is kind of stiff and super flashy, but I’m sure I will still use it for something! Here are the goodies inside of the bag:

Nailtini nail polish in Champagne– This is a gorgeous rose gold shade, so I’m happy with it and will definitely wear it!

Starlooks Gem Eye Pencil in Topaz– I liked the black eye pencil I received from Starlooks, so I’ll probably like this one too.

Em by Michelle Phan Pillow Plush Cushiony Lip Balm in Vanilla– This smells good, but the texture isn’t great. It’s a little goopy and not very moisturizing. I would go so far as to say it is disgusting to me right now.Β  I’m going to try it out some more to see if I like it any better.

Pixi Bronzer in Subtly Suntouched– This will definitely be a blush over a bronzer for me, but I still love the color!

Be a Bombshell Lip Crayon in Hot Damn– This is a bright red lip crayon. It looks kind of like a tomato type red.

Tresemme Tres Two travel size hairspray– I rarely wear hairspray, but since the holidays are coming up, I may need whatever hair I decide to do last longer. I will sound so old for saying this, but hairspray is SO different now from when I was a kid. I used to use the White Rain #4 super hold or something like that. It was the 80s/early 90s when I was in middle school, so I really sprayed it to keep my lovely perm in place. πŸ˜‰

ANYWAY. That’s my Ipsy bag this month! I am really happy with it and most excited to use the bronzer. What did you get this month?

I just bought some Tresemme hairspray for the first time, too. I just use hairspray to tame flyaways. Oh, and I’m right there with you on the 1980s hairspray usage. The bathroom in my parents’ house had a complete coating on one wall. (Aqua Net!) I’m pretty sure our generation and gender are responsible for about 80% of the damage to the ozone layer! πŸ˜‰
