This post is way overdue, but I wanted to still share my December Ipsy bag, because it was AWESOME and I haven’t received January’s bag yet. The theme was “Celebration”. First, we need to discuss the amazing bag. It is super chic and sturdy, and has stylish raised “studs”. This is one of my favorite bags so far! Here’s what was inside of the bag!
Be A Bombshell The One Stick– This is kind of like a NARS multiple. I got the shade Flustered, which is pretty bright, but I’m not afraid of bright colors. I’m also obsessed with cream blush at the moment, so I love this.
Nicka K New York nail polish in Taupe– Yes, taupe. I like this color. I haven’t worn the polish yet, but I’m happy to see a color I like and a new brand.
Pop Beauty Bright Up Your Life Eye Shadow palette– I got the Smokin’ Hot trio, which is good for smoky eye looks. I’m glad I got this one instead of the neutral palette, because this is more outside of my comfort zone.
Big Lip Pencil by J. Cat Beauty in Caramel Mocha– My first impression was “another red lip pencil…”, but this is not red but more of a peachy nude! This brand reminds me of NYX. They must be made in the same place or under the same ownership, because these are very similar to the NYX big lip pencils. Anyway, I like the color and have worn this a few times since receiving my bag.
Demeter Roll on Perfume in Snow– This is probably my favorite item in the bag. This scent is really fresh and clean, and true to the name, it reminds me of snow.
Once again, Ipsy knocked it out of the park with so many full size items! Birchbox on the other hand…I’m not even going to go there. The box was a huge let down and so is my January box since I peeked at it already but haven’t received it yet. I totally unsubscribed and am going to try Starlooks. I’ve received three items from Starlooks through Ipsy, and I love all three of them.
