January 2014 Favorites!

fave

I’m so happy that January is almost over with. I’m absolutely FED UP with this month. To put a long story short, I’ve been trapped at my house the majority of the month due to drifting and blowing snow. I’m fed up with it being below zero every day too. My skin is SO dry! Anyway, let’s get onto the more fun part of this post: January favorites!

fave4Physicians Formula BB cream: I’ve had this for some time, but this month is when I really fell in love with it. It doesn’t dry out my skin, evens out my skin tone, and is a good color match. I use Light/Medium.

MAC ProLongwear Concealer: For some reason I always forget how amazing this stuff is at covering my dark circles. My shade is NW25.

Josie Maran Argan Oil Light– HOOKED on this stuff. The regular oil is too heavy as a facial moisturizer, but this is perfect! I like it so much that I ordered the full-size bottle.

fave3Sorry it’s dirty, but hey, I was using it this week! 🙂 This is the Earth Therapeutics Blending Sponge. I wasn’t really looking for a Beauty Blender dupe, but decided to try this out since it was only $6, and I love it! It takes a few days for the sponge to get worn in and softer to use, but I really love how this applies foundation.

Since I’m craving spring and prettier weather, I’ve been trying to cheer myself up with bright colors. Also, since my lips are SO chapped, I’ve been reaching for these Revlon Lip Butters in Juicy Papaya and Sweet Tart lately.

In an effort to shop my stash for more bright colors, I dug out my MAC lipstick in Flamingo.

Sephora by OPI The Golden Age is a gold glitter that has some white gold/silver pieces too. I’ve been putting this on so many of my manicures. I just love this polish!

I just bought the Earth Therapeutics blending sponge today. I had a $5 reward certificate to Kohls, so I only paid $1 for it. Glad to know my $1 and reward certificate weren’t wasted. 🙂

I still haven’t tried using a sponge! Gotta try that soon.

I love those lipstick colors, they’re so vibrant and fun!
