It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Six Piece Brush Set Review!

I haven’t dipped my toe into the It Cosmetics world too much, but one thing I really love are their brushes. When this kit came out I was really excited to be able to try so many brushes in an affordable way: this kit is $40, which is a great price for what it contains.

The ultra-luxurious, ultra-plush collection of brushes work with all your favorite products but take them to a new level of airbrush application! The sophisticated travel case flips around, becoming a vanity stand for your brushes. Each Heavenly Luxe Brush sets a new standard for quality and makes for the most effective distribution of your favorite cosmetics. The soft brush hair is perfect for all skin types.

  • 100% Synthetic, Cruelty-Free Hair.
  • PETA Friendly.
  • Pro-hygienic.

This set comes with six brushes and a travel case. The brushes include:

  • Heavenly Luxe Travel Multi-Powder Brush
  • Heavenly Luxe Travel Flat Foundation Brush
  • Heavenly Luxe Travel Flat Concealer Brush
  • No-Tug Travel Crease Brush
  • No-Tug Travel Allover Eye Shadow Brush
  • No-Tug Eyeliner and Brow Brush with Spoolie

The handles of these brushes are really sleek and sturdy; they feel well-made. I’ve already washed and used these and haven’t experienced any shedding, and the bristles are just as soft after washing as they were when they arrived. I think this kit is priced well, even though I’m not completely in love with a couple of the brushes.

Here are my thoughts on the individual brushes:

Heavenly Luxe Travel Multi-Powder Brush- This is a great brush. I use it for blush, bronzer, and highlighting.

Heavenly Luxe Travel Flat Foundation Brush- I don’t usually go for flat brushes like this one for foundation, but I really like how my foundation looks after using it. I’m really happy with this brush.

Heavenly Luxe Travel Flat Concealer Brush- No complaints about this brush! I never use brushes like this for concealer, but for putting primer on my lids, like MAC paint pots.

No-Tug Travel Crease Brush– The two shadow brushes are the ‘duds’ of this set. I can get use out of them, but they’re a little large for my eyes. I have been using this to set under eye powder, because as a crease brush, it just doesn’t work for me.

No-Tug Travel Allover Eye Shadow Brush– This brush is a little large for my lids, and it isn’t the best at packing on shadow. I have used this to apply under eye concealer, and it works nicely for that.

No-Tug Eyeliner and Brow Brush with Spoolie- I am so happy with this little guy. The spoolie is so good! I have been wanting one of the Anastasia eye brushes, and now I don’t need one because I have this set.

I purchased my brush set from Ulta and love it overall. Even though the shadow brushes aren’t amazing, I have been able to find other uses for them, and the face brushes are incredible! 🙂
