I haven’t been buying much makeup lately, and then I had a moment of WEAKNESS when all of these fun limited edition collections rolled out. Nudes! Pinks! Vintage shades! Yep…I caved, big time! Here’s what I picked up.
Yes…that’s six lipsticks. I NEVER do that! I almost always get one or two, but hey, the colors were speaking to me. The Maybelline shades are from their spring collection, the L’Oreal colors are from the Privee collection, and the Revlon colors are re-releases of vintage shades. Seriously, make these permanent!
L’Oreal Doutzen’s Nude, Revlon Snow Peach, and Revlon Jungle Peach
Maybelline Barely Bronze and Ravishing Rose, and L’Oreal Julianne’s Nude
I did not see any of the new LE Color Tattoos, but I did get the Master Hi-Light in Natural. This is an awesome color swatched. The squares of taupe in there…love.
I also got the Master Glaze Blush stick in Barely Pink. I’m not sure what the deal is with this one, but it isn’t firm like the other one that I have. This is REALLY soft and feels spongy. I might have to depot this, because I think it’s going to be a disaster if I try to use it as a stick.
I picked up the Color Elixer in Radiant Bloom. I wanted other shades, but I had to draw the line somewhere! I am already contemplating a back-up.
Barely Bronze, Radiant Rose, Julianne’s Nude, Doutzen’s Nude, Snow Peach, Jungle Peach, Barely Pink, Radiant Bloom, Natural Hi-Light.
I also picked up three nail polishes: Wet ‘n’ Wild Valet Tag, L’Oreal Peach Neglige, and Maybelline Bronze Beam. The final thing I got was the Wet ‘n’ Wild foundation brush. I have the Fergie brush set that came out during the holidays, and the brushes are fantastic, so I figured why not try this one since it’s only $1. I passed on the other brushes in the line and didn’t get any of the limited edition eyeshadow palettes. They’re pretty, but I just don’t reach for them enough.
Have you spotted any of these items yet? I think I’m the most excited about the vintage Revlon shades. I even voted for these on Facebook before they came out! 🙂
