Spring always has me in the mood for bronzer, bronzer, bronzer! After hearing rave reviews about the Jane Cosmetics bronzer, I picked this up in the shade Dream. This is a warm matte shade, but definitely not orange.
The powder is embossed with a gorgeous flower in the middle, and the texture is very smooth and soft, but not powdery. I haven’t experienced any fallout with this product at all. The tone of this is just perfect in its balance- it isn’t muddy, orange, too cool, or too warm; it’s just right! I think a lot of skin shades would be able to wear this, from very fair to medium. It’s very easy to blend, so if you accidentally apply too much, it will be easy to correct.
It’s not always easy to find a good bronzer at the drugstore, in my opinion. NYC Sunny fades quickly, at least on my skin, and Revlon discontinued Bronzed & Chic (why!? …I have a backup!). ELF has a decent bronzer in their blush/bronzer duo, and I also like the Warm Golden bronzer from the brand, but at times it is a little too light for me. Next to Revlon’s Bronzed & Chic, Dream is definitely the winner.
This retails for $10 at Ulta. I’m really happy with Jane Cosmetics’ comeback and have been loving their eye shadows, but so far the bronzer and eyeliners have been my favorite things from the line. 🙂
