Eve Pearl is a celebrity makeup artist who has worked in television and film, and she has also won 5 Emmy awards. I’ve had this kit for awhile now. While shopping my stash, I decided to pull it out and use it a bit; I just love when I have those rediscovered favorites pop up!
As you can see, I’ve actually hit pan with this palette! It includes:
- Two cream foundations
- 1 cream blush
- 2 cream concealers (the infamous salmon concealer)
- 1 mattifier
- 1 illuminator
This kit retails for $98; however, I recommend waiting for a sale (which is what I did). These are often 50-70% off during Black Friday type sales, so you can get it at a much more affordable price point.
The palette is quite large and definitely has enough to achieve a full face of makeup, which I love for travel. The second foundation shade is a little dark for me while I’m not tan, so I just use it as a cream bronzer, which works nicely. The first foundation shade blends nicely into my skin- you don’t need much either! The yellow mattifier shade I usually use over any red areas on my face. The blush in this kit is incredibly pigmented. You definitely don’t need much!
Of course, I do love the salmon concealers, and they definitely work to conceal my dark circles, which is no easy task!
Left to right: Both foundation shades, the mattifier, illuminator, salmon concealers, and the blush.
This kit truly makes my morning routine a breeze, because everything is already there! For that reason, this kit is great for travel. It’s lightweight too, and doesn’t take up a ton of space. I also LOVE the huge mirror! I like packaging that is sleek and functional, so this wins in that department.
A few weeks ago, I had an allergic reaction to LORAC’s CC cream (thankfully it was just a sample freebie tube), and my face was horribly dry and had a rash. I used this palette to cover up the rash and redness, and I used it during the “drying out” phase. This was my LIFESAVER! I will be forever grateful to this palette for that reason. 😀
