My Inglot Freedom System Palette!

I am so excited about this post!!! If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that I was in Montreal last week! My husband and I went on a vacation, just us-the first one since our honeymoon in 2006! We had an amazing time and the best part was having him all to myself for a change. For the last few months, he has been working nearly 70 hours a week and really deserved a break! Anyway, we did all kinds of fun stuff on our trip, and of course I had to look for some makeup that I can’t get in the US. I know that there are Inglot counters in the US, but I don’t live near them, so I was excited to stumble upon an Inglot store completely by accident while we were wandering around one day. My very sweet husband got me this palette as an early birthday gift! Since I have a million neutrals already, I decided to pick colors that are bright and more unique.

Many times I’ve gone to order Inglot online, but never bit the bullet. After hearing Zenorah rave about them, I had to try them for myself! I got a palette of five shadows ($49 CAD/$44 USD). The shades I picked out are:

  • 439 – pearl -deep bluish purple
  • 384 – matte – kelly green
  • 372 – matte – bright aqua
  • 59 – AMC – yellow with a touch of green
  • 38 – shine – shimmering pink lavender

This is ONE swipe of each shade. I can’t believe how pigmented they are, and they are incredible soft.

Shade 38 is such a pretty highlight. I don’t have anything quite like it; it’s kind of like MAC Shroom, but amplified with more color and shine. The swatch doesn’t do it any justice either, as it definitely has a bit of shine to it.

I’m pretty much pathetically giddy over these shadows and can’t wait to experiment with them. Thank you again, to my amazing hubby!

I don’t live close to any Inglot stores either but hopefully they’ll open one in my city one day.

I’ve been considering getting either Inglot or Makeup Geek eyeshadows, but have been having a really difficult time deciding. And for some reason it’s nearly impossible to find people comparing them. I see that you have both MUG and Inglot, is there one of them that you’d recommend over the other?

That is a good comparison! Both brands, in my experience, are highly pigmented and last a long time. If you’re looking for bold colors, I would go with Inglot, simply because they have a HUGE collection. MUG is extremely pigmented as well- You really can’t go wrong with either brand in terms of pigmentation, but I find MUG more affordable and more easily accessible. I hope this helps! 🙂
