Mary Kay Cream Eye Color in Beach Blonde

In my last Mary Kay order from my BFF, I picked up one of the cream eyeshadows. I’ve been loving cream shadows lately, and always use them as a base for eye looks. I picked out the shade ‘Beach Blonde’, which is a shimmer shade. The majority of the Mary Kay cream shadows appear to be shimmer, but there are some mattes as well.

This soft, creamy, long-wearing formula glides on easily, lasts for 10 hours and can be applied in multiple layers to deliver more noticeable color while retaining a lightweight feel.

I think this is an accurate description. This is very long-wearing and it builds easily. It also sets fairly quickly, but not so fast that you can’t work with it. Once it sets, it doesn’t budge, similar to the Maybelline Color Tattoos.

Interestingly, this product looks different in the pan compared to the swatch! In the pan, it appears to be a yellow gold, but on the skin it takes on a new dimension- It looks like a darker, sandy shimmer- just like the beach! I have similar shades in this color family, but no dupes. I LOVE the color of this. It’s not bronze, but not beige. I’ll be wearing this a lot this spring and summer!

The product is housed in a plastic container. Hopefully that doesn’t mean it will dry out quickly!

Have you ever tried Mary Kay cream eyeshadows? They are $14 per pan and can be used with the Mary Kay mineral eyeshadows (per the website’s description).

If you want to check out my BFF’s Mary Kay page, you can do so here. 🙂 So far I like everything I’ve ordered from her and will be writing some more reviews soon!
