Clinique All About Shadow Single in Black Honey

Hazel-eyed ladies and gents, listen up to this one- you will definitely want to look into adding Clinque’s single shadow in Black Honey to your eyeshadow arsenal. This is such a fantastic shade! Described as “deep rose”, it is a dark reddish, rusty brown with shimmer. This really makes my eyes pop!

It comes in a mirrored package that is clear on the back so you can see the color, which I think is quite clever! I’m actually not that well-versed in Clinique’s makeup. I never think of Clinique when I want to get new makeup, but this spring people are going crazy over the blushes and neutral palette, so I decided to just go for the cult classic color with this eyeshadow.

It is very pigmented and easy to apply. I didn’t have any fallout, and the application was smooth overall. This is a $15 shadow, and in my opinion, fairly priced for the quality.

I have so many shadows to pair this with. It looks fantastic with MAC’s Tan pigment if you have that one (I used it in the middle in the photo above).

Although this is a shimmery shadow, it isn’t over the top if you’re concerned with that. The shimmer is actually quite subdued as you can see in the swatches.

I’m not going to run out and go crazy over Clinique’s makeup any time soon, but I do love this color and am really happy that I picked it up!

Do you use Clinique’s makeup? What do you think of it?
