Vibrant & Bright Pop of Pink Bridal Tutorial!

Hello! I’m back with another bridal tutorial, though this can of course be worn for all sorts of occasions! 🙂 This one is a little outside of the typical “wedding” realm, as the focus is all about bright lips and cheeks, with minimal eye makeup.

  • Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation in Light
  • MAC Prep + Prime CC Colour Correcting Compact in Illuminate
  • Stila In the Light palette
  • NARS Matte Multiple in Laos
  • Bare Minerals Mineral Veil (original)
  • MAC Whisper of Gilt Extra Dimension Skinfinish
  • City Color Be Matte Blush in Fresh Melon
  • Lise Watier Bronzer in Havana
  • MAC Prolongwear Paint Pot in Camel Coat
  • MAC Prolongwear Concealer in NW25
  • MAC Dipdown Fluidline
  • MAC Brow Gel in Deep Dark Brunette
  • MAC Lasting Sensation Lip Liner
  • MAC Sunny Seoul Lipstick
  • Smashbox Eye Brightening Mascara/Illuminator
  • Mary Kay Age-Fighting Lip Primer

There’s nothing special about the way the products are applied here. It’s all about color and making it pop; this is actually quite fast and easy in lieu of bridal tutorials! The goal is to look polished and bright.

The eyes could not be easier in this look. In a few simple steps, you will be finished! 🙂

1- Apply MAC Camel Coat or other base to the eyelid.

2- Using the Stila palette, apply the shade Sandstone all over the lid. Pick up Kitten and blend over Sandstone for brightness and sparkle. Finally, blend Bare over the brow bone and through the crease for seamless transition between colors.

3- Smudge MAC Dipdown on the lower lash line. Apply to upper lash line, and the waterline if desired (I did).

4- Fill in brows as desired, and apply mascara.

1- Apply under eye concealer before foundation. I like to do this when using MAC Prolongwear concealer since so much is dispensed with the faulty pump!

2- Apply foundation using a sponge. Since this is a spray can foundation, I sprayed it directly onto the Real Techniques blending sponge. Don’t forget to blend the neckline, and build until you get the desired coverage that you want. This Sephora foundation is fantastic for building.

3-Dab NARS Laos onto the apples of the cheeks, and top with City Color Fresh Melon. Blend, but keep it bright!

4-Sweep highlighter on the tops of cheekbones, and dab the slightest hint of it on the center of the forehead, down the bridge of the nose, and on the chin. You don’t want to go overboard here. A VERY light hand should be used. I used MAC Whisper of Gilt, but any gold highlighter will do.

5- Blend bronzer lightly around the hairline and the neck; I didn’t use much here, just enough for a touch of glow.

6- With MAC CC powder in Illuminate, set under eye concealer and lightly apply around the lip line.

7- With a kabuki brush, set makeup with Bare Minerals Mineral Veil.

1- Apply lip balm or lip primer to the lips.

2- Fill in lips with MAC Lasting Sensation lip liner.

3- Apply MAC Sunny Seoul. This is a cremesheen, so it has a little bit of a glossy look.

4- Using a lip brush or sanitized hands, go back to the highlighter and gently pat a small amount on the middle of the top and bottom lip for a touch of shine.

That’s it! 🙂
