It has been awhile since I’ve written a Fitness Friday post. Since the half marathon, I’ve kind of been “taking a break”, meaning I’ve been running between 3 and 6 miles when I go out. That’s about to change though, since I’m running another half marathon this month! I was actually supposed to run the 10K, but I ended up buying a transfer bib to the half. My father-in-law and sister-in-law are also running the half. I’m way slower than they are, but I figure knowing they are running too will motivate me to finish strong!
According to Nike+, I’ve run the length of Sweden: 550 kilometers! I thought that was interesting. 🙂
I am signed up for all kinds of races this summer. If you look at the “Running” tab at the top of the page, it includes my list, and I’m always updating it. My friend Amanda and I are doing a bunch of races together (with me in the photo above), and some of them involve dressing up with costumes, which is always fun! We’re actually running a 10K together on the 17th, because we are trying to qualify for the same start corral at RUN DISNEY! Yes, we’re going to sign up for the Glass Slipper Challenge in Disney World, but more on that later. 😉
Next week I’m planning on doing a review on a pair of my shoes. Hopefully someone with flat feet like me will find it helpful! 🙂
