Glossy & Scorching Summer Sun Lip Look

Sometimes it seems like we are all in hot pursuit of the best lip color, when in reality all it takes is a little mixing to get beautiful results…at least I’m guilty of it! 🙂 I’ve been using my MAC lip liner in Lasting Sensation a lot lately. It’s a bright orange coral shade that is super pigmented and comfortable to wear. I decided to mix it up with a couple of drugstore items: ELF matte lipstick in Praline, and Milani lip gloss in Luminous.

The result of this combination is super glossy and a “hot” looking shade- as in fire!

The Milani Brilliant Shine gloss is fantastic; Luminous is packed with gold shimmer, but not chunky. It’s comfortable to wear and has an incredible amount of shine. I think this is much better than the Revlon Super Lustrous glosses, which are the same price point.

To get this lip, I lined the lips with lasting sensation, and smudged toward the middle of the lip. After filling in the rest with Praline and blending, I added Luminous on top.

The color kind of took on a “hot coral” shade, right on trend for spring! 🙂

What lip combinations have you been rocking lately?
