Rouge Bunny Rouge Skin Sanctuary Foundation Review

Rouge Bunny Rouge is a delightful Russian/UK-based brand inspired by whimsical gardens, fairy-tales, and beautiful, ethereal designs. Today I’m reviewing the Skin Sanctuary Time Defying Foundation in the shade Quinoa Cream. This foundation is available in four shades: Linen Cream, Quinoa Cream, Wheat Cream, and Barley Cream.

A medium to high coverage evens skin tone, diminishing the natural signs of aging that appear with mature skin, while giving the gift of preventative and protective virtues to younger complexions. With a creamy yet feather-light texture, a comforting veil is cast over redness and imperfections with an incredible, velvet-soft touch.

The foundation is housed in a luxurious glass bottle with matte finish, a beautiful feather design, and a pump. The whole presentation of this product is amazing. It arrives in a sturdy black tube that is also intricately designed.

Quinoa Cream is a pinkish light beige color. I think this would be suitable for someone in the NC20-25 range, and though it is a touch too light for my face, with blending and some bronzer buffed in, this isn’t noticeable.

I’ve had some time to test this foundation, and my review is definitely favorable. First, I’d like to mention the staying power. This is the closest staying powder that I’ve ever experienced that is close to Estee Lauder Double Wear. This is one of those “wears like iron” foundations, yet it is not uncomfortable to wear. It flexible when blended and not suffocating, which I appreciate. It is a thicker cream, but easy to blend. A little goes a long way with this foundation! It does cover redness and even out skin nicely as well. I did not use any additional concealer when using the foundation, with the exception of under my eyes.

Wearing Skin Sanctuary foundation

I did not experience any oxidation with this foundation (but I rarely do). My overall opinion is that this is a very high quality foundation. It is long lasting, looks beautiful on the skin, and lives up to the claims. Remember to use a little at a time, otherwise it might look cakey.

Rouge Bunny Rouge is a cruelty-free brand. Have you tried it before?
