Revlon Moisture Stain in Cannes Crush

The Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains have been around for awhile now, but I’m just getting around to trying one. Whenever a new product comes out, I usually just buy one to see if I like it, and then go back for more; that way, if I hate it, I only have one and didn’t waste much. Anyway, the verdict is that I will probably purchase another moisture stain! Right now, I have Cannes Crush, which is a vibrant watermelon color.

Let me just say that I normally hate stains. Those NYC stains… *shudder*. This is a stain that truly IS moisturizing.

Like the Maybelline Color Elixers and the L’Oreal Extraordinaire lip colors, this has a pointed, “furry” textured applicator. I like that it is pointed because it’s easy to apply. It also has some flex, so it works with your lip shape.

What I like:

  • Color applies evenly
  • Doesn’t accent dry areas
  • Color is vibrant
  • Moisturizing
  • Comfortable to wear
  • Stain wears away normally, not patchy
  • Lightweight
  • No taste

I honestly can’t think of something I don’t like about this gloss. These are fantastic, at least Cannes Crush is! 😀 I will definitely be getting another color. I think these are more comfortable than the Maybelline Color Elixirs. Wear time is pretty average; around 3 hours.

Have you tried these? What do you think of them?

I really want some of these but am trying to refrain from yet another lipstick purchase (you’ll see in my blog post coming up this Wednesday that I’ve done a bit of unnecessary shopping recently). That colour is so pretty though. I’m getting more into the brighter corals.
