Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream

Jennifer Aniston is the co-owner and a spokeswoman for the fancy schmancy hairstyle brand Living Proof. There’s actually an interesting article from awhile back in the Wall Street Journal that talks about her interest in the brand, and working with the scientists behind it. A long time ago I had tried some samples with the brand (shampoo and conditioner), and I had this No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream sample (very generous size) lurking in my basket of goodies, so I put it up to the challenge.

Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream is the first new anti-frizz technology in over 30 years that doesn’t rely on silicones or oils. Instead, No Frizz derives performance from Living Proof’s “miracle molecule,” PolyfluoroEster, to create a weightless shield on hair that blocks humidity absorption, smooths the cuticle, and repels dirt. The PolyfluoroEster shield is established over the first five uses of the No Frizz regimen, so it becomes stronger, the longer you use it—and can be maintained with consistent use of No Frizz products.

My hair can get kind of frizzy at times, especially when I use hot tools or have second day hair. I usually keep my hair smooth with oils, but I have had trouble maintaining smooth hair if I skip washes. When I skip washing, my hair is difficult to manage. It’s unruly, sticks out everywhere (flyaways), and just doesn’t look good. Enter Living Proof.

After the first use, I noticed a difference! My hair seemed to have more volume, and it was truly smooth. It looked even BETTER the next day.

Second day hair- smooth, looks normal (photos from previous tutorial)!

Usually with second day hair, I have to curl it or wear it in a bun because of the texture and inability to control it. Living Proof made my hair easy to brush and comb the next day, which NEVER happens. Usually it is a battle of tangles.

Interestingly, this product claims to build up in your hair and get better with use, and of course it works better when maintained with other Living Proof hair products. Through this little sample, I fell in LOVE with this stuff! I already picked up a full size bottle. 🙂

Living Proof is my jam! My favorite is the full line, but I’ve used no frizz (loved it) and recently tried the perfect hair day (worked great but not my fave, too heavy for me). I got a sample at Ulta years ago and was like wait, I can have nice hair?!

Awesome! I definitely want to try more from the line. For once in my life my hair isn’t a wild beast to tame. Hahaha

Ok, this sounds like a product I need! How much is it and where odd you purchase it? I grew up in AZ with stick straight hair, and now that I live at the beach, it’s a whole new animal! Frizzy with some wave/curl to it, and now I long for my straight hair days hahaha!

I purchased mine from Ulta. It’s more cost effective to get the 8 ounce bottle for $36. I can’t live without it now! 😀
