7 Taupe Eye Pencils

Taupe, taupe, taupe! That’s what this post is all about, so if you love taupe, this post is for you! 🙂 Every so often I go through my makeup and cull things I don’t like. I kept all of these pencils, so I thought it would be fun to talk about them with some mini reviews!

In order of swatches:

Mary Kay Over the Taupe– This is a cream eyeshadow in stick form. I love this pencil. It has a nice sheen, but isn’t overly glittery or super metallic. The color is easy to wear alone or with other shadows.

Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil in Juju– This is another cream stick eyeshadow. I love this pencil and don’t use it enough. It does not budge on the lids. As you can see, it is pretty metallic, which I don’t mind. I don’t think this is available anymore, but you might be able to spot it on Hautelook.

Rimmel ScandalEyes in Taupe– Classic, creamy taupe. No shimmer or shine, and easy to apply. This is great for super natural days. Most of the time my eyeshadow is darker than this pencil, so I don’t usually wear it on my top lid; it is great for the lower lash line though.

Maybelline Master Drama in Taupe Takeover– I’m debating keeping this pencil. I love the color, but the pencil doesn’t glide on as smoothly as I like. I pulled it out for now to use it and see what I think. This was limited edition from last summer, BUT you can find this collection at Big Lots right now, so you might be able to find it.

Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Mushroom– This is SUCH A GREAT PENCIL! You cannot go wrong with Mushroom! My favorite of the bunch

The last two pencils are from Physicians Formula’s “Nude Eyes” eyeliner trio set. The other pencil in the kit is black. These pencils are long-wearing and apply easily.

Do you have a favorite taupe eye pencil?
