Annabelle TwistUp Lipstick Crayon in Bubble

I haven’t reviewed many of the items I purchased in Montreal, which I NEED to do! 🙂 Let’s start with this lip crayon from Annabelle, shall we? This brand is actually made in Montreal, but can be found all over Canada, at least to my knowledge. These are $10 CAD.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Dare to be colourful with this easy retractable lipstick + lipliner in one. No sharpener required! Formula enriched with nourishing natural ingredients such as Omega 3 + 6 and Shea Butter.

Bubble is a vibrant, warm-toned pink color with a touch of coral. While I have plenty of colors in this family, there is a brightness to this that really sets it apart from your typical peachy-pink. The consistency of this pencil seems more dense and a little harder than other drugstore lip pencils, and it is very pigmented right on the first swipe.

The finish is not glossy- it seems like a satin/matte hybrid of sorts. While it goes on smoothly, you will need to exfoliate first if you have dry lips like I do, because it does cling to dry patches. It has no scent whatsoever, so those who are sensitive to scents will appreciate that!

The wear time is around 3-4 hours, and it doesn’t leave a stain behind. I love the pointed end of the pencil, and the size is perfect for precision application. Bubble reminds me of a toned-down Viva Glam Nicki (MAC), so if you like that color but can’t wear it, you may want to check out Bubble!

For those in the US, you can shop on Annabelle’s website. I highly recommend this color and the pencil is good quality, too! The packaging is a little tacky (it has a clear cap)- something about it reminds me of Wet ‘n’ Wild, but the product is good, and that is what really matters! 🙂
