Mary Kay Mineral Eyeshadows in Moonstone, Driftwood, and Rosegold

In my last Mary Kay order from my BFF, I purchased three eyeshadows in Driftwood, Rosegold, and Moonstone. I have another friend who loves Mary Kay eyeshadow, so being the eyeshadow junkie that I am, it was time to try them! They come in pans and are packaged in lightweight plastic cases. You can keep these for storage, or purchase one of the empty Mary Kay eyeshadow palettes. Since the shadows are magnetized, I’m keeping mine in a GlamRX palette that I received in an Ipsy bag some time ago.

I was really surprised at how teeny-tiny the shadows are! MAC eyeshadows contain .05 ounces of product, and these do as well, so it is just the way they are packaged that makes them seem like less product. Mary Kay eyeshadows are $7 each.

I have to say that my friend was right, and these eyeshadows are lovely! I LOVE Driftwood. It is so pigmented and just the perfect shade of brown. It feels like silk and blends easily. Rosegold is also beautiful. The shimmer is just right, and the sparkle isn’t over the top. Moonstone is a little frosty if you put too much on, but it is a beautiful highlight for the brow bone and inner corner when blended. I even used it on the tops of my cheekbones as a highlighter one day.

I definitely plan on getting more of these eyeshadows to fill up my little GlamRX palette. 🙂

All those shadows are so pretty! I especially like Rosegold. The packaging makes me think they may work well for traveling or throwing in your makeup bag. I don’t own any Mary Kay makeup so I may have to check it out.
