The BA Star Tropical Palette ($8.75) contains five vibrant shades that actually remind me a little bit of the Urban Decay Electric Palette. They aren’t dupes, but the quality is very pigmented for this price point.
The quality of this is consistent to other BA Star palettes: pigmented, goes on smoothly, but just a tiny bit flaky. They actually remind me of how the L’Oreal Infallibles tend to crumble a little if you push the brush too hard.
Check out those colors! The best performing shades are the teal and purple. The pink was slightly patchy, and the silver and green needed to be built up a little, but this didn’t take much to do. The colors will stay all day with a good primer.
I think this is a fun little palette if you want some color, but don’t want to spend a lot of money on something you won’t wear all the time.
