Boots Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm

Awhile back, I picked up some skincare from the Boots Botanics line, including this 97% Organic Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm. I’ve used cleansing balms in the past and love how thick and moisturizing they are. My skin always feels so clean after using them. I think this was is around $8 or $9 at Target, so it’s really affordable, especially for what it does.

It comes with a cloth, but I’m not a huge fan of it. The cloth is kind of scratchy and not very soft, so you may want to get another cloth if this bothers you. I just use a washcloth instead of this cloth, so problem solved (I may try to get another cloth from eBay, one that is softer).

The balm itself appears hard, but it softens up when you dig it out of the container and apply it to your face. This smells SO good too. It’s kind of sweet, but still fresh-very natural.

This balm removes makeup easily and makes my skin feel supple and soft after using it. It is also very gentle in that it spreads onto the face easily, and simply wipes off.

I think this is a fantastic little bargain buy that feels a lot more luxurious than the price tag reveals! I can see this becoming a staple in my skincare routine in my future. πŸ™‚

This is one of my favorite cleansers. It works so well and the price is so affordable. I also hate the cloth it comes with and I bought a whole set of microfiber cleaning clothes to use with this, instead. They work very well and were affordable enough that I was able to buy enough to use a new cloth every night and wash them all every 2 weeks.

  2. I had exactly the same thoughts as you. It is one of my favourite budget cleansers by far. Standard face towels also work though i save that more for if i need exfoliating.
