Current Blush Favorites

I have been going through a cleaning and purging phrase lately and that includes my makeup, the goal being to only have things I wholly love. My grandmother was a hoarder so I’m a hyper aware of clutter and stuff taking up space. I’m actually really happy with the progress I’ve made and thanks to that, I’m enjoying my makeup more and shopping my stash a lot! One of my favorite things has been to dig into my blush!

Lately I have been gravitating toward deep neutrals, but I’m also enjoying rosy colors.

MAC Sweet As Cocoa– This is a sheertone shimmer blush described as “brown with pearl.” It’s a coppery reddish brown and very natural looking on the skin.

Starlooks 3B2 blush palette– I’ve mostly been using the left and middle shades, but I truly LOVE this palette! This is definitely my favorite Starlooks item so far! I keep thinking I’m going to cancel…but I’m just not ready yet!

MAC Sunset Beach– This has to be my favorite accidental blush I’ve ever had! 🙂 I ended up with this due to the big shipping accident that MAC had when mixing up this blush with Ocean City. This is a nice and fresh rosy pink.

NARS Amour- This is another great rosy color. This color would look beautiful on just about everyone. I love how NARS blushes are pigmented but easy to build!

NARS Lovejoy– This is a rosy bronze color with some shimmer. I’ve been wearing this the most of the bunch.

Illamasqua Katie– I’m rediscovering this beautiful milky pink. I’m grateful to have this now because I have no idea where to buy Illamasqua in the USA now that it is gone from Sephora (though I haven’t totally searched either).

What blushes are you enjoying lately or shopping from your stash?

  1. It might be my love for NARS blushes, but Amour and Lovejoy look so gorgeous! 😉 xx

Great picks! Alas, Illamasqua has pulled out of North America. You’ll need to order online. 😦
